“Kids Helping Kids” through Divorce and Alienation. A project of Guias Marstellar, an 18 yr old Survivor of Alientation.
We are starting to have many kids that would like to express their feelings while going through the emotional turmoil of hostile divorces, so what better way to help the children then to have parents and children together, and speak about everything and anything!

He is also willing to talk to parents who have so many questions on the feelings they may want to know a child has when the Target Parent is trying to have parenting time, or simply communications with an Alienated child.

Ask questions of each other and learn about what your children are feeling while going through this. Sometimes kids listen to other adults better than their own parents, and parents listen better to other kids!

This is a part of a pilot program that The Lee PAS Foundation is sponsoring for a young man deturmined to help children and parents through PA.

“HI, my name is Guias Marstellar I’m 18 I too was involved with Parental Alienation. I went through watching my parents’ divorce and was not only hard for me but my siblings and parents as well. I went from loving both to hating one to loving both again. I’m not sure why I hated one for so long I think it was because I held a grudge against the one who I believed hurt me. Which was wrong, and I do regret it.

If any of you need my help or would like to talk email me directly through this site if you are a member, look at my blog & articles or email me through Guias.PAS.12@gmail.com. You can also find me on Facebook and myspace. Much love.-G”

Let’s make this a success for the kids, and for all the children who are hurting and need another child to talk with!!!

Our mission at Three Sides to Every Story is a very simple one. “Unity” for children and their families after divorce or separation is our goal.

Our founder found herself in the middle of the battle of her life when her son lost his children through divorce. The lies and fraud that were committed to keep these children away for eight very long years was something she did not want to relive…for she herself is the product of the same abuse and deception as a child.

We strive to bring awareness to the plight of the children and their families.

No child deserves to go to bed at night with the feeling of not being loved by both parents and both sides of grandparents and all of their extended family.

Our goal is to educate not only both parents, but to bring awareness to all those that help make the laws of our land.

Children Need Both Parents

And by all means

They Deserve to Have Loving Grandparents in Their Lives.

Bessie Hudgins

Overcoming Adversity
We all have experienced difficulties in our lives. The rollercoaster of life, at times, can be overwhelming. Each end everyone one of us has the capability to create, experience and share hope and joy. Bryan shares his experiences of his lifelong search for his mother, brain injury, difficult relationships, losing his daughter to show overcoming the difficult times and experiencing life at it's fullest is possible after tragedy.

Parental Abduction/Alienation
When a parent abducts their own child the taking parent must implement Parental Alienation in order to control the child. These tactics used on the child to create hate and fear of the targeted parent can have lifelong affects, known as Parental Alienation Syndrome, PAS. Bryan explains his father's destructive tactics he used for decades to control Bryan and how Parental Alienation still effects Bryan, forty years later.
“My brain injury and recovery was the toughest two years of my life… but I would not trade the experience for a million dollars.”

Bryan, abducted at two years old by his father, Bryan searched for his mother for years, finally finding her three decades later. He painfully discovered his mother had searched for him for years then, giving up, she attempted suicide.

Bryan speaks about his family tragedy and rebirth at public presentations and in his book Have You Seen My Mother.

Dr. Baker is a nationally recognized expert in parent child relationships, especially children of divorce, parental alienation syndrome, and emotional abuse of children.

What happens to children who are manipulated by one parent to turn against the other parent? Do these children ever figure it out and reconcile with their "lost" parent?

New York Times Coverage
In the Times interview Joe, one of 40 individuals who participated in Dr. Baker's research study, explain’s how the emotional manipulation and control he experienced by his father ultimately resulted in the complete denigration, abuse, and rejection of his mother. The interview, like Baker’s book, also explores what led to Joe rethinking his childhood, finally freeing himself from his father’s lies and abuse and reconciling with his mother. Unfortunately, Joe’s story is far from unique, especially as rates of divorce and custody disputes continue to increase. Baker’s book provides the first insider’s glimpse into the world of PAS and its long-term effects and was written for targeted parents as well as the legal and mental health professionals working with them.

In today’s changing social landscape, divorce has become a significant and immutable feature. Currently, more marriages end in divorce than do not. The reasons for this are many and complex, and although these reasons are debated, the fact of the predominance of divorce is not disputed. With this upswing in divorce comes also an explosion in the number of children of divorce.

Due primarily to social and legal changes that occurred in the 1970’s, the dilemma of where and with whom the child would live primarily became a reality that more of us knew directly or indirectly. Simply put, child custody disputes have became a much more prominent feature of our everyday lives. Children are routinely fought over in custody disputes, and seldom does a day pass that one does not hear of some tragic and sometime violent event that occurred in the context of a custody dispute. Related to this, the courts have become choked with allegations of one spouse abusing the other spouse and/ or the children, again in the context of one of these custody disputes. It is within this complex social and legal context that the terms Parental Alienation and Parental Alienation Syndrome were born.

This website is devoted to addressing this phenomenon of Parental Alienation and its legacy Parental Alienation Syndrome, also known as PAS. The purpose of this website is for the education of parents, mental health professionals, attorneys and judges, who find themselves dealing with these terribly difficult issues.
